Applied Behavior Analysis

Lauren Marra

Lauren Marra is committed to using proven practices that help children who need unique support to achieve their best and live life to the fullest. Lauren co-founded Marra & Glick to bring the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to schools and families working to reduce challenging behaviors of clients through functional and social skills building.

Lauren began her career directly serving children spanning a variety of ages and needs. Through working in early childhood settings, as an in-home provider for children on the autism spectrum, and a professional development specialist conducting training for school staff, she saw that children with special needs deserve evidence-based treatment. It was clear that a specific approach for teaching functional behaviors and social skills was something sorely needed for children and the people caring for or educating them – and yet, there was a void on Long Island for finding such help. She co-founded Marra & Glick to bring the proven science of Applied Behavior Analysis to more children in a professional, personalized, and goal-oriented approach.

At Marra & Glick, Lauren helps design the content and approach for services implemented by a team of dozens of Licensed Behavior Analysts and ABA providers working across Long Island. As Executive Director, Lauren ensures that all clients receive the highest level of services by qualified team members. She strives to provide a work environment that is supportive, professional, and enriching for all who work with the company. Lauren is excited to roll out the next generation of Marra & Glick’s work – Center Based Behavioral Services located at their Islandia location.

Lauren is a Licensed Behavior Analyst in New York State, holds a Board Certification in Behavior Analysis, and a post graduate certification in Applied Behavior Analysis from Penn State University. She also holds a Masters of Science in Special Education from the Graduate School of Education at Touro College, and Bachelors of Science in Education and Italian from Brooklyn College – City University of New York.
